We got the call only a few minutes ahead of time - the
festive dancing for the Jewish holiday of Sukkot was going on in the Old City right
now! So we jumped on the bus and headed in. It was a good time
of rejoicing with some of the straightest-laced black-robed fellows you've ever
seen.

Preston was not shy - here he's dancing with
a couple of the children. |
|
Leo and Brett held hands as they spun around the
circle. Notice that there are no girls in these
pictures. Not allowed :-( |
 |
|
 |
You can pick out Leo, Seth, Nate, Preston and
Pat in this one. |
|
The guy in the green - somebody tell Saddler to dance! |

 |
After a bit of sweating, we sat down with
Akiva, an orthodox Jew in the Old City who gave us a few things to think
about with regard to this holiday. |
|
Here Akiva searches the Torah for a verse to make his
point. Todd sat next to him and encouraged him along. |

And what is a holiday without some cotton candy?
Toqe munched on some while Shea scouted for girls, um, girls carrying
Bibles :-). |
