Here you will find ChatAngel's Stories where you will learn a little about the girl behind the poet. Although I do plan to add more, right now I have only two (2) of my own. However, I also have some stories which my Mom taped and I edited and placed here, proud to share them with those who share ChatAngel's cyberworld.
Sadly, my mom, Reina G. Childress, passed away this past May 29 (1999), the day of my 49th birthday. She was 75. We had hoped to have many more of her stories, for she was a consummate storyteller, articulate, witty, self-deprecating and above all deeply in love with life and all it had to offer, bad, good or indifferent. I have one more tape to which I have not yet been able to listen - it's still too soon. When I am ready, I will listen to that tape (isn't it grand that I have it!) spinning whatever wonderful stories are there and will add them, the final chapter, to the ChatMom section of ChatAngel's Stories. Until that happens, I hope you enjoy the stories I have now... a little piece of my history... and maybe yours... my tribute to a very unique woman. |
