Trust and Intimacy

The level of trust and intimacy is fantastic in polyamory. To be able to love more than one woman with the same fierce intensity is beyond measure. While we look on the act of sharing water as sharing life, I've found that by being poly allows the ideal of life shared to become a living fact. To be able to share with more than one lover, of the intimate journeys of the soul is a fulfilling experience and allows- or actually encourages you to grow as a person.

When you get to be with a lover after missing her for so long is a joy. Just being there sends the senses singing. There is a special pleasure in giving your lover a massage because she's had a really bad week and she falls asleep in your arms. That says so much about trust. To be able to experience wonder with one lover while your primary partner is able to do the same with her lover is magical- especially when you are reunited with her at the end of an extended period apart.

Polyamory encourages communication, caring and sharing at all levels with everyone involved. I believe it does make you a better person, much more in touch with yourself and the world around you.
