Shield us with Your waning light. Join us in our mystic rite. Let us revel in Your splendid sight as You continue on Your endless flight.

Protect us from those who might harm us for their lack of sight and deny us this, our ancient rite. To bathe and worship in Your dim light.

As you vanish from our sight and the world once again becomes bright, and we continue our daily plight, our thoughts are with You, and the night.
