WELCOME TO MY TRAVELERS PAGE.

I've had the joy and blessing of attending more than one Special International Convention. I love to travel, but can't afford to do it nearly as often as I might wish. If you're like me, maybe you will enjoy some of the links I've found that let you learn more about far away people and places I've seen. If you find links that you think I could add to this page LET ME KNOW!

My family moved to the "Big Island" where I live, in 1981. So named because it is larger than all the other islands of Hawaii combined. We are orignally from Arizona, where we had lived until 1981. Hawaii is a very beautiful part of Jehovah's gift to mankind. It is said that all but two of earth's climate zones can be found here on this one island.

Beautiful as it is, I have always wanted to travel. Jehovah, through his organization, has given me opportunity to do that. In 1986 I travel to Christchurch, New Zealand. Later, in 1990, I visited Prague, Czech Republic. I made many very dear friends with whom I've been able to keep in touch over the years. Shortly after returning home from Prague, I received an invitation from the Society to represent Hawaii's Branch territory (which is seprate from the USA) at the historic Convention in St. Petersburg, Russia. I spent some time learning a little Russian so I could talk with those dear brothers at least a little bit. And I'm glad I did.

In September 1996 a dream of many years also came true, when I was able to visit Israel for the first time.(There are A LOT of Links to Israel here, so please do enjoy them. But I doubt you'll have time to visit them all - which is exactly how I felt about Israel itself!) Here is a link I found to Eilat, on the Red Sea Coast. I didn't get there but you might like to take a peek! I hope to go back one day, if Jehovah permits. I met face to face with brothers I had only known through letters. This also gave me a chance to practice my Hebrew. It was wonderful. I was able to visit many Biblical places, including Jerusalem, Meggido, and the Sea of Galilee. I also visited the Yad Vashem Holocaust Memorial Meuseum. There is so much to see in Jerusalem that it's worth taking a second look at, so please do. (This is a different link to the city.) And here is my own view of the city.... a picture that I took from the Mount of Olives, and another one just outside of Hezekiah's Tunnel in Jerusalem.

If you still want to learn more about Isreal you can try Sabra Net. If your Browser can read Hebrew you'll find this site is Bilingual.

If you have a Browser that can read Hebrew, you might like to visit my Hebrew page.

Thank you for visiting. I hope to add some new things soon. So please do come again. Aloha!
