These fabulous paper collages were inspired by Northwest Coast Indian chilkat
blankets
Students used clay to create stunning ceramic bowls which were inspired
by Northwest Coast Indian feast bowls
Students also used clay to construct these colorful and functional canteens
which were inspired by the Indains of the American Southwest
Students looked at examples of thunderbirds in all types of American Indian
artwork. They then created their own thunderbird cutouts and decorated
them with Native American symbols.
After looking at slides of the wonderful tepees of the American Plains
Indians, kindergarteners created their own tepees which were then put up
in a corner of their room.
