TETARD MIDDLE SCHOOL'S
VIOLENT INCIDENT PREVENTION & EDUCATIONAL RESOURCE (VIPER) PROGRAM!!!

Tetard Middle School is continuing its popular Violence Prevention Program called VIPER.
VIPER is an acronym for Violent Incident Prevention and Educational Resources Program. In its third year, the 2001-2002 program provides Academic Intervention Services and a safety-net for students every morning before the start of the regular school day and on Saturdays.

The program, directed by Ms. Wendy Spector, Dean and Site Supervisor, provides students with activities such as literacy and mathematics enrichment, guidance, and computer technology.

From 7:30 a.m. to 8:15 a.m., Monday thru Thursday, VIPER students participate in literacy, mathematics, and art enrichment activities.

On Saturdays, the program provides enrichment activities, community and recreational activities, an art program, and more!

CALENDAR OF EVENTS (Currently being updated.)

For all participating students and parents, VIPER is having a significant impact. Students are involved in activities during the school week that stress alternatives to violence as a response. On Saturdays, students and parents are involved in a range of classes, workshops, and activities that offer productive alternatives to violence, anger, and frustration.
