Slipping into the water
stretching out in warm silk
pulling my hand from the wetness
it shines not showing the troubles
weighing down my mind.

Slipping farther under
noticing the weight of my body
floating to the surface
it floats not feeling the weight
weighing down my my mind.

Slipping into dreams
running from the pain
wanting to forget
it finds me everywhere, as it is
weighing down my mind.

Slipping into consciousness
grabbing for a miracle
hitting the wall of marble
it releases all that is
weighing down my mind.
