Suncrest middle school is located in Morgantown, West Virginia. It is home to over 450 students, in grades 7 through 9. Extra cirricular activities include football, basketball (boys and girls), Morgantown High School sports, Mathcounts (an after school program for further study of math), cheerleading, and band, which has won many awards, amongst many other activities. Our school mascot is the seal, our news paper is The Blue and White Review (Our school colors).
Suncrest's math department recently joined seven other West Virginia schools to set up Internet accessable computers. Most funding for the project has been provided by a generous $2 million grant from IBM Computer.
Suncrest also has a state-of-the-art technology lab, with activities ranging from robotics to satellite communications to rocketry and flight, and six other stations.
