Day Of Joy

I stand to stare at a friend
Where once there stood a love
A cruel reminder of nothing
And that I lay trapped in nowhere
A suffering like no other in life
I ask, what will I do

What will I do
A trip to see a friend
A journey to find new life
A quest to find new love
But my friends all live nowhere
And my journeys lead to nothing

I say there is but nothing
To the extent of what I will do
I will take my place in nowhere
I will live without a friend
To gain again the time of your love
To rid this cold from my empty life

I proclaim the end of this life
This life filled with nothing
This lonely life lacking love
These dreary days deprived of what to do
These fiendish foes I call friends
I live the life of a man from nowhere
