A Special Angel

Thirty eight years ago the gods sent to earth a very special angel to the
earth. The angels name was Mahoi she was given to a very loving family.The mother of this family taught Mahoi a lot of very special things.
Then one day when Mahoi was older she met a very wonderful man named time. He came to Hawaii for a visit. What Tim didn't know was that the gods had a reason to send him there. While he was there he met a very beautiful woman. This woman's name was Mahoi she was the most beautiful woman he had ever seen in his life. She had very long brown hair and the most beautiful loving brown eyes he had ever seen. She could dance the most beautiful dance he had ever seen. He knew right then that he had found the Angel of his dreams.
Mahoi fell madly in love with Tim. They where together for along time and then one day.Mahoi found out that she was going to have a baby.Tim and Mahoi were very happy that they where going to be parents.Mahoi was going to teach her baby all the things she was taught by her mother.
Mahoi gave birth to twin sons Glen and Mike.She was very happy that the gods had given her two wonderful and healthy babies. She watched them grow up and she was very happy to have them.But the one thing in the world that she wanted was a little girl. She wanted to teach them all the wonderful things that she grew up with.
Mahoi and Tim and their sons were very happy together. She taught them to surf and how to fish using nets.She taught them all about the gods of Hawaii. She taught them about all the wonderful things that there was to know about Hawaii. She also taught them to love people and how to never forget where they came from.
Then one wonderful day she found out that she was going to have a baby again. Deep down she wanted a little girl more then anything in this world. So she went to the top of the volcano and asked them to bless her with a daughter. She told them she would teach her all about them.
On the most special day of the year. The day for lover's the god's gave her her wish a daughter. She named her daughter Sherri Mahoi.She was so happy and so glad the gods gave her her wish.She took her daughter to the top of the volcano and lifted her to the sky and told the gods her daughters name. Then she told them that she was "her beautiful one."
Sherri was a happy little girl she grew up with a lot of love from Tim and Mahoi. Tim would always call her his beautiful one. When Sherri was young Mahoi taught Sherri about the flowers and the rain forest and that we needed to take care of them and to watch over them. She taught her to surf and to swim.She taught Sherri that there were wonderful people in the world. She taught her about the gods and how they made the islands. She taught her how her people came to the islands.
She would take Sherri and when the mother turtles would come ashore to lay their eggs. She would take Sherri and they would watch them lay the eggs. Then when the mother turtles would leave she would mark the nests.Then when it was time for the baby turtles to hatch.She would take Sherri and a basket and they would take the babie turtles and put them into the sea so that the birds and dogs would not kill them. Sherri loved doing that the most with her mother.
Mohai taught Sherri to do something that was the most beautiful thing that her mother could do. She taught Sherri to dance she taught her to dance the dance of love and all the dances that the first Hawaiians did. She would love to sit and watch her mother dance she was so beautiful when she danced. Sherri could see why Tim would stand and watch when her mother danced. She was so graceful and so beautiful her long hair would blow in the wind. He beautiful hands would tell the most wonderful stories. They were so graceful. Her mother would smile and when she did it would light up the whole stage.
Sherri learned so much from her wonderful special mother. She was so glad to have her as a mother.
Mahoi was special in so many ways. She had her children but she would take in her children friends as her own. She became a mother to April. April was one of Sherri's friends they are more than friends they are sisters. April loved Mahoi and Mahoi loved April.
Then when Sherri was eleven years old. Her mother found out that she was sick. She told Glen and Mike and Sherri and April that she was very sick and she didn't know if she would see them grow up but she would try with all her heart.
One day when everyone was gone but Mahoi and Sherri she told her daughter something. She made Sherri promise not to tell anyone this secret and Sherri promised.She told Sherri that she had a dream and that the gods told her that they needed her to come back to the heavens. She promised Sherri that she would watch over all of them.
Then one very sad day Mahoi died. She went back to be with the gods.Sherri was very sad when her mother died. She felt like she was alone on the earth. But Sherri was not alone.When she would go to sleep Mahoi would come to her and talk to her.
When Sherri was young she met a man that told her that he loved her and wanted to be with her the rest of her life. One day Sherri found out that she was going to have a baby. Sherri was so happy. She said that she would teach them everything that Mahoi had taught her. When Sherri found out she was going to have a baby she went to the top of the volcano and asked the gods to give her a healthy baby girl. The gods and Mahoi heard her and nine months later Sherri gave birth to twin daughters. She named them Tiki and Jasmine. Tiki was for the god of rainbows. Jasmine was named after Mahoi favorite flower. It smelled so sweet and wonderful.
When Tiki and Jasmie were three months old their father took them away from Sherri. Sherri searched the world for Tiki and Jasmine. Inside she was dieing and there was not one thing anyone could do for her.Sherri would go to the top of the volcano and ask the gods to help her find them.But the gods never answered her wish.
Sherri went on with her life but she never forgot about Tiki and Jasmine. But something inside of Sherri changed. She stopped trusting people. She would never let anyone love her and she would never love anyone again. See Sherri was scared if she loved again she would be hurt again. She didn't want to hurt again.
Then one day Tim came to Sherri and told her that they where going to leave Hawaii and move to Washington to live. Sherri was not happy about leaving Hawaii. She didn't want to leave her family and friends she had there. But Tim promised Sherri she would come and see them and they would come and see her.
So they moved to Washington.Sherri didn't like it at first. Then one day Tim came home and told Sherri he bought her a computer. Sherri thought it was okay she really didn't care about it.Sherri had two new sister now Heidi and Michelle. They would get on the computer all the time. Then one night Sherri got on it and met a guy from Canada named Richard. She thought he was cool. Then Sherri met the guys friend. She thought he was wonderful. Then April came over to visit Sherri. Sherri got April to talk to the first guy his name was Rich and they fell in love. Sherri was scared to fall in love again so she didn't tell Ryan how she felt about him.
Then one night when she was sleeping Mahoi came to Sherri in her dreams and told her that Ryan and her where meant to be together. She told her that she had picked him out for her. She told Sherri that Ryan would make her happy and to open up her heart and she would find it out. So Sherri did and she knew that her mother was right. Sherri told Ryan that she loved him.Ryan told Sherri that he loved her too.
Then one day the gods gave Sherri and Ryan a very special gift. They gave her a little baby girl named April Marie. Sherri and Ryan where very happy when they got April. But deep down in Sherri's heart she was still crying for Tiki and Jasmine. She wondered how they where doing and if they where being loved.
Then one day Sherri found out the Tiki had died and that the man who took
her away was in jail. Sherri was so hurt when she found out that her daughter was dead. Ryan told Sherri that she was okay.That Mahoi was taking very good care of Tiki and was showing her all the things that she showed Sherri. Then a few days later Sherri and Ryan found out that their daughter Jasmine was alive. So Jasmine was brought home to be with Sherri and Ryan. Sherri has shown Jasmine the things that Mahoi showed her and is teaching her all the wonderful things that she was taught from Mahoi.
Sherri misses Mahoi still.When she does, she closes her eyes and there Mahoi is with Tiki. She is holding her and smiling and Sherri knows that Mahoi is watching over her and is always with her.
But when Sherri looks up to the sky and sees the rainbow she knows that Tiki is smiling at her and telling her. "Mommy I am very happy with Grandma Mahoi"
So when you are feeling sad and want to give up. Look up to the sky and the Gods and Mahoi will look down and smile on you.

Mom I love you and miss you with all my heart. Thank you very much for showing me that I could love again. I am so very happy.
