A Birthing
(a birthday gift for Micheal)
May the radiance of the Sun instill
within you
the spark of passion and the burning desire to learn.
May the watchful presence of the Moon guide and protect
you through all of life's journeys.
May the spirit of Earth show you the value of grounding,
and holding fast to your self.
May the spirit of Air become an example of quiet strength.
May the spirit of Water teach the power of yielding.
A horses hoof beats out a syncopated cadence; insect wings drone
a rhythmic time
croaking frogs a harmonious backdrop; to the nightbirds call, a
melodic rhyme
this is your symphony of life
well come !
in perfect love and perfect trust
The Basics
Head; to
Heart; to Hands
(visualization with intent yeilds action)
to (and because of) my friend Artemia
unseen, but
not unknown
Her hands reach down
holding like the Mother
caressing like the Lover
feeling like the Child
in all ways, always She touches
A friends friend was very ill and the final outcome was not the preferred POV
the transition
to the summerlands
a journey not always of choice
is it as a chosen road not an acceptable path
when the thin veneer of reality has been worn away by age or time
and all that is left is the facade of poignant truth
does then the mountain know the boulder that is the rock
to be the pebble that will be the sand which is the dust soon to
be rain
no-one of us can understand the complexities that are truely so
simple
A zephyr blows
swirling
the radiant energy of the sun
mixed
with the verdunt green of new sprouts
this is the circle
yeilding a bountiful harvest
give "of" yourself for others
that way you can aleviate the ego and obligation
inherant in giving "to" someone
this is a response to a class I was taking (please exuse the non-sequitors) I would like to share it with you...
A commentary
on “Diety”.
An individual question to a universal answer
The is/was/will be.
A noun/verb.
A (non) time frame (un) name for the entity/conscienceness from
whence all/we (not just the terran bound, sentient/homo-sapien)
have been created/evolved, is at once both a terrifying
abstraction, and a comforting reality.
-although the (quote-unquote) non-sentient have the pure power to
accept,
where we (mankind as a race) are limited with the ability to
question-
A “collective “, a place/concept to return to, a
place/concept to be from
(Our life time(s) spent in an effort to learn how !)
I accept a version of “the eight fold path”:
that continued “lives” offer the chance to re-learn how
to be “of” the “one”
each “life” offers a lesson, either in failure (the
ONLY way to learn)
or
in success (overcoming the pre-concieved values and surpassing
them)
Once the temporal and spatial limitations are removed, the
concept of omnipresent and omnipotent are not that hard to
encompass
The phrases “thou art god” and “grok” are so
essential to this understanding.
( thank you Robert A. ) fogive me if i sound like a nestling !
It is from this power/energy/entity that “all” is, and
when this is accepted it is only “natural” that any
part of the whole has access to the whole, it is through this
access/tapping of natural energy the concepts of religions were
constructed.
The Tao essence of the “yin-yang” (that which is-that
which is not; both exist, seperate/inclusive balance)
no right -wrong: only perception
Do not be confused by this (so far) “clinical”
viewpoint
The natural way of things , is growth, prosperity and
rejuvination (you only need to look about you at the ways of the
un-encumbered) plants, animals, even the seasons
such then is the way of that which “is” natural
the positve things that we precieve are in fact natural
I do not apologize for writing this in a statemental format as
opposed to anecdotal
my thoughts on “Diety” are layered at best and although
i have a tendency t’wards eloquence i find explaining what i
know as “truth” more difficult than trying to describe
the color orange.
you may have noticed that this didn’t hit the bottom of the
list *BWSEG*
more on “Diety” and my thoughts on God/dess will follow
tomorrow
please let me know if my ramblings make any sense
i can work on better phrasing

Samhain Blessing '97
for the children
goddess bless the wee ones that have passed.
a journey too short to learn anything but
the purity of love without bounderies.
wide seeking eyes unfettered by the social stigma of dis-trust
my little ones, tonight i hold you deep within my heart
through the Goddess, my love and spirit i give to you
join us now in this celebration of change.

come now and let my embrace enfold you

sons, daughters, brothers, sisters know that you are loved
by all that is/was/will be
you are loved
darker thoughts
my
soulmate,
my children,
the knowledge that my "being" will be of
some import to someone.
this holds my crossing.
i am
"of" the the then,
needing to be "in" the now,
i have forgotten the future.
blind
within the brightness,
that only shadows can show,
stupified by brilliance,
that only ignorance can know.
a
heart so cold
can love enfold
and melt the frost that grows
break through the icy crust of doubt
reveal the beauty
where lifes river flows
a spirit dry
a need to cry,
could teardrops fill the well
relieve the parched souls psychic drought
unleash the passion
only time may tell
There sometimes appears to be a dis-ease
with the conscious train of thought.
a time where priorities become askew,
and the decisions that must be made,
bring about a foreshadowed 20/20 hindsight.
obligations overlap.
someone, something, must give way.
Oft times it is our "selves",
not the outside intrusions
(actually they are taken care of
in a natural manner,
when they get done,
and not too surprisingly,
that is all that matters).
concept has no temporal bounderies.
A breeze,
blowing through an open window,
brings the rumble of a distant thunderhead
proclaiming
"no question will go unanswered !"
with it,
the Mothers subtle whisper
"there is no answer to a question unasked."
the strength of self, of conviction,
dare we ask ?
have we the courage to listen ?
not only to the answer...
but to the question !
