Minha Querida Amiga!!! I must admit that before March 1996, I knew very little of the country of Brazil, did not know any of the Brazilian Portuguese language and had not enjoyed the friendship of a sparkling personality called "Tete!" I have learned, through my new friend, about a wonderful fun-loving people. Though poverty is very harsh in much of Brazil, these people are peaceful and friendly. "Tete" is a Disc Jockey and I enjoy my own private radio show almost nightly over the NetMeeting! She is a very talented, funny personality! I hope the visit to Maine that had to be postponed last summer will finally happen this year!
