WHAT WE BELIEVE . We believe there is but one living God, everlasting, of infinite wisdom, power and dignity, creator and preserver of all things visible and invisible; and in the unity of this Godhead there are three persons, equal in power, holiness, wisdom and love, namely the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost. . We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, born of a virgin, perfect man and very God, united in one person, who actually was crucified, died, and buried to reconcile lost humanity to God. At that same point He drew men into Him. He was then quickened (life of God breathed into Him), raised and seated on the right hand of the Father. . We believe that Jesus was crucified, we were crucified with Him, Jesus died, we died with Him, Jesus was buried, we were buried with Him, He was quickened, we were quickened with Him, He was raised, we were raised with Him, He was seated, we were seated with Him. . We believe that He has come to save the WHOLE WORLD and that He has succeeded in doing that, once and for ALL . We believe in the Finished work of Jesus Christ, that we are saved BY GRACE ONLY and not by our own effort or works (John 19:30) . We believe that we are raised and seated in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus. (Ephesians 2:6) . We believe the baptism of the Holy Spirit is an experience obtainable by faith on the part of the believer and the evidence for the reception of this experience is speaking in other tongues as the spirit gives utterance (Acts 2:4) . . We believe in the Bible as Gods inspired and infallible word of truth consisting of the Old and New Testament ( I Tim. 3:16). We also are listening to the Father for present truth (2Peter 1:12) and strongly lean on the leading of the Holy Spirit in ALL areas . We believe in the five fold ministry of the Church, according to Eph. 2:20; 4:11-12; Isaiah 11. Also, I Cor. 12:28; and God hath set some in the church, first Apostles, secondarily Prophets, thirdly Teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healing’s, helps, governments, diversities of tongues. .
We believe in the nine Spiritual gifts, according to I Cor. 12:1-11. All of these gifts should be in operation in the Church today, as the five fold ministry is working for maturing (growing up) the saints. The Bible is the inspired Word of God and we follow it is our example for every situation in this body.
