Poems (Part Three)

Words are like the colors of a butterfly, small but so beautiful as life itself...

Have fun on Poems (Part Four)

FALL FEELINGS

Envelopped in the smell of pines
Following the footprint and lines
Looking at the soft brown bark
In the trees it's getting dark

Colored leaves on the forest's ground
Laughing child: "Listen to this sound!
Cavorting squirrels in the slowly leaning trees
Running and nibbling through the rainbow seas"

Cold stones, covered with moss, still wet from the morning dew
The bear takes care of the cavern for his animal crew
Wine red, orange, golden leaves dance in the wind wildly
While the sweet birdies go back to their nests tiredly

The wind becomes stronger, the colors an entire storm
Leaves whirl through the airs, towards the sky's tower form
They say goodbye for this year, fly high where the diamond shines
I stand on roast brown earth, envelopped in the smell of pines...

TO THE ONES I LOVE

You've always been here
When the sky got dark
Your eyes have enlightened
The depth of the night

We've laughed and cried
Never let each other go
Talking, listening, hoping
Feeling the same

Some of you live in places
I have never been
But the day shall come
I will see your smiles for real

Does the space where we met matter?
This place is a web of friendships
I want to tell you that I think of you
Thank you for all that you gave me

A big heart beating
Whatever else happens
The anger always disappears
Our love and care never does

THE GHOST

Windows whistled
A screaming cat
Blue dust jumping
Up and down
On diary pages

She wore necklaces and chains
Long black hair and a cool look
Invisible to the eyes of immortals
Fading to ashes inside of some
Praised to heaven in an old heart

I've known her for years
But hid away too many times
Closing my mind to her steps
Forgetting her unique beauty
Only seeing the icy soul

She waits at every corner of your life
To catch you and make you think
Of what has happened and maybe why
Her name sounding like flowing glass
She shall be called Memory
