Welcome to Tusita Pavilion.. the News Hub for Dhammakaya Network.

What does Tusita Pavilion mean?
According to Buddhist scripture, Tusita is a Pali name used to call the fourth level of heavenly paradise.  It is the place where celestial bodies of Bodhisattva (those who pursue perfections) spend their time awaiting for rebirth in order to accumulate meritorious deeds again until they reach their ultimate goal of attaining enlightenment.  Thus, Tusita Pavilion offers news and information to encourage everyone to continue the commitment in doing good deeds through out one's life as if he or she is a Bodhisattva.

On November 2, 2003, Dhammakaya Temple (Thailand) will organize its annual Kathina ceremony. Fund raising for the ceremony will be contributed to the construction of the new meditation hall for advanced meditators.  This building is also built to commemorate the 60th birthday anniversary of Phra Rajabhavanavisuth, the leader of Dhammakaya Temple, which falls on April 22, 2004.

Contribution for the Kathina is considered to be a great merit because the building will be truly used for meditation, the path to nirvana.  For more information, please see www.dhammakaya.or.th
