Here is a page that I have set up so that I can keep you (yes, YOU) updated on topics that I am currently researching and will be appearing on this page next. It can also function as a list to remind me of what I plan to work on.

Pronounciation information on Igbo. So you thought that this would be hard for me, eh? Well, I took a linguistics class last year called The Sounds of Language, and for my final project, I studied Igbo (what a surprise). I am deciding whether to post my paper online, which is complete with IPA transcription. My hesitation has to do with prior plagerism (see disclaimer note at the bottom of this list).
Nigerian Politics, with a focus on freeing Nigeria
The Nigeria-Biafra war (1967-1970). There is still a lot that is unresolved from the civil war, including the whole notion of “freeing Nigeria.”
My family history (which may sound boring, but I guess my family played some important roles in some aspects of the Igbo culture in Imo State; the most interesting being that my great-grandfather brought Catholism to part of the Igbo tribe and my great uncle being president of Nigeria before the Nigeria-Biafra war)
Nigeria and the slave trade (I took a class called The Black Family, and this connection was brought up in class. It was believed that Nigerians, specifically Igbos, walked across the ocean to return to their homeland)
