The Fantastic Four

Greenlee alums to speak to SPJ about internships

 

AMES, Iowa – Four Greenlee School alums who were interns at the Des Moines Register in the fall will speak to the ISU Chapter of SPJ Wednesday, March 8.

               Lucas Grundmeier, Jared Strong, Beth Loberg and Lauren Burt will speak in Hamilton Hall 172. The event starts at 6:30 p.m.

               Pizza and soft drinks will be provided, and the meeting is open to all.  

               The Fantastic Four will discuss their internship experiences and the current state of the job market for those trying to get their first job in journalism.

               On a side note, SPJ is raising money for the Student Press Law Center's capital campaign; the proverbial hat will be passed around for donations.
