Lab 12
June 19, 2003 |
Final exam study guide 1. Lab 12: Write and design an ad. Mandatories to be given in lecture. Include 10 headlines, memo and ad copy. Due at the beginning of class. This will be done outside of class. 2. Make sure you carefully proofread your ad and its headline. Then turn in Lab 12. 3. Return Lab 11 with comments and grade. 4. Update your grade grids. 5. Tip: Always look up proper nouns that you are unfamiliar with and make sure you get your interviewee to spell his/her names twice -- slowly. Also, when you have somebody on the phone whom you want to interview, often it is a good idea to just go ahead and ask a few quick questions if you get the sense that person is going to be slow, difficult or tending to put you off. 6. Those who have signed up for portfolio conferences need to come dressed for a job interview. Include resume and three publishable articles in your portfolio. Worth 20 points of extra credit. Add to lowest lab score. 7. Enjoy the rest of the summer. Be safe. Good luck. |
