Employment
Lionel is a senior consultant with Intergon, where he advises businesses on strategic planning, business process re-engineering, leadership development, process improvement, quality management, documentation, intranet development, and other business development initiatives. He has assisted a wide range of businesses to obtain significant improvements. The industries he has worked with have included manufacturing, food processing, telecommunications, information technology, service, fashion and logistics. In addition to training individuals and groups in business and government, Lionel has lectured on a variety of subjects in several tertiary institutions and is currently a researcher for the RMIT Business Faculty and lectures for the RMIT Masters of Manufacturing Engineering Program. He has worked in Canada, Australia, New Zealand and South East Asia.

Education
Lionel graduated with an industrial engineering degree from Ryerson Polytechnical University after studying general engineering at the Royal Military College of Canada. He completed the Masters of Business Administration program at Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology in 1998, and the PhD in 2003.

Recognition
He was listed in the International Who’s Who of Quality in 1993 and was nominated for a Banksia Environmental Award in 1996. He has been awarded the Canadian Forces Decoration, the Golden Jubilee Medal, and the Legion Cross of Merit.

Family
Lionel married Trina Lewis in Scots Church on 10 January 1998. Lauren Sofia born 4 June 2003 and Christened at Scots Church on 16 November 2003.
