Now meeting at Coppin Hall, 313 Punt Road, Prahran.
Every month from1977, to October 1998, the Hand of Friendship Lodge of Instruction has met at Centennial House of the Royal Freemasons Homes of Victoria. A Lodge room was set up in the physiotherapy room of this aged care institution and the residents are transported to the meeting by volunteers. Each month either a visit is made by one of the Masonic Orders or a prominent Freemason and a short talk is presented to the brethren.
With the sale of Centennial House, Hand of Friendship now meets at Coppin Hall, within the main grounds of the Royal Freemasons Homes of Victoria, at 313 Punt Road, Prahran.
This is the only known lodge in which the Master has presided wearing pajamas!
If you feel inclided to help, please show up and introduce yourself.
The premeeting activity carried out by volunteers roughly follows this schedule:
 4:00 pm - set up the Lodge room
5:00 pm - begin wheeling brethren from their rooms
5:30 pm - Open the Lodge
6:30 pm - Close the Lodge and dismantle the Lodge room
6:45 pm - take refreshments
7:00 pm - Tyler's Toast
7:00 pm - cleanup and return residents who need assistance
