It is only now that I have had time to truly appreciate the significance of the events over the last few weeks, that I am able toput pen to paper and properly thank you and my seconder for the extraordinary effort that you both went to on the occasion of my Initiation into Freemasonry on Friday the 7th of June 1996. I now appreciate how hard it must be to encourage new members to join, without the benefit of being able to tell them anything about what is going on. But now that I possess the extensive experience of two whole meetings, I feel that I can speak with authority and begin to understand the amazing lengths that you and my seconder have obviously extended to ensure that my Initiation was not only expedited, but completed in tome for your own Installation, whjich must surely be a highlight to all Freemasons. I am very confident that I have made an excellent decision to join The Army Lodge, if not a little disappointed that I did not join years earlier. Needless to say, I look forward to the many new experiences of Freemasonry and the years of comradeship that lay before me. |
