Our Statement of Purpose: The Santa Clara Church of the Nazarene exists in response to Christ's Great Commission to make Disciples of all Nations. We desire our neighbors and our world to experience the heart-cleansing, redemptive work of the Holy Spirit by faith in the power of the shed blood of Jesus Christ. We are:
Who Are the Nazarenes?: Nazarenes seek to be biblical, but not "Bible Thumpers;" evangelistic, but not obnoxious in pressing the claims of Christ; traditional Christians, but not loaded up with traditions that take the place of Scripture. They are holiness people so far as classifications go, but they realize they need to mature day by day in the holy life. They realize that even the fully sanctified always need the blood of Christ to atone for their shortcomings and failures. Our churches seek to meet the life needs of the whole person at all stages of life’s way. Need more information? See our headquarters website! In our local church, people discover direction and meaning for life. We discover the joy of being part of the family of God. Many ask the question, "Don’t Christians have any fun?"
