A Pagan does not go about sputtering curses left and right at whim. You may have heard magick described as "black" or "white" but there is no such distinction. Magick is magick. Only the person can decide how it is used. Much like a knife is neither good nor evil, but in the hands of a person it can be wielded for either. Below is what we refer to as the "Wiccan Rede." Most Pagans adhere to these guidelines not just for magick, but for everyday living. It is an old verse, and speaks of the consequences should we forget to treat ourselves and our magicks with respect.
