Dr. Albert W. Bush, Jr. is the founding pastor of Gardens Presbyterian
Church of Palm Beach Gardens, Florida.
He served pastorates in Baltimore, Maryland, from 1981 to 1987, and
Lake George, New York from 1972 to 1981. From 1987 to 1993 Dr. Bush served
in the Florida Army National Guard where he received the Florida Distinguished
Service Medal, the second highest award given by the State of Florida,
for his service (in the fall of 1992) during and after Hurricane Andrew.
In the Presybtery of Tropical Florida, Dr. Bush served as the Stated
Clerk/Treasurer. He is a graduate of Ohio Wesleyan University, Princeton
Theological Seminary, Drew University Theological School, and the U.S.
Army Command and General Staff College.
Dr. Bush is married to Christine Winkler Bush, formerly of Scotia, New
York, and presently a Professor of Mathematics at Palm Beach Community
College. The Bushes have three children, Jonathan age 20, Andrew age 18,
and Rachel age 15. The Bushes live in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. |
