TEDDY - 11 YEARS SCHOOL - 2007 Our grandson, Teddy, was born on April 20, 1997, and he   has a great personality and a winning smile. Teddy enjoys playing computer games and is very active in karate.  In September, 2007, he tested for his brown belt and was successful.

Our son, Tim (left), receives an award for 17 years of service to the state of KY. He was recently named supervisor of Abandoned Mines in Prestonsburg, KY.

Hi, my name is Vera Connelley.  I am married to Jimmy, with two children,my daughter,  Jacqueline Lee, and  my son, Timothy Brent.  I am a member of the First Baptist Church, a  retired teacher (English &  French, ) and enjoy reading (historical fiction), music  (piano &organ), photography, genealogy, writing, and of course, surfing the net.  Born and reared in the hills of Eastern Ky, I have a great love and respect for the people and great beauty of the mountains..  My priorities are God, family, school, music, and hobbies.   With lots of leisure time, I am now a contributing columnist for The Salyersville Independent and have a new hobby,  writing songs.
