Constantine Conley (son of Henry Connelly and Rebecca Blair) was born December 05, 1831 in Jennies Creek, Johnson (then Floyd) Co., Ky., and died April 05, 1904 in East Point, Johnson Co., Ky.. He married Rebecca Jane McCarty on June 09, 1854 in Johnson Co., Ky., daughter of John McCarty and Lydia Unknown. Notes for Constantine Conley: Constantine is listed as a shoe maker in the 1870 census. He is, however, credited with building the first hotel in what is now Magoffin County, Kentucky. Supposedly while at this hotel, his son William Elsey was given a map to the Swift Silver Mine by a traveling attorney.
