January 1st, 1998
Robin Crystal Solsvig and I were married!

May 10th, 1998
Mark graduated from Emmaus Bible College with a Bachelor of Science in Biblical Studies and Elementary Education.


August 18th, 1998
Mark was hired to work at Tri-State Christian School in Galena, Illinois where he teaches K-6 Physical Education, 9th-11th English, and Ecomomics.


May 10th, 2000
Robin graduated from Emmaus Bible College with a Bachelor of Science in Biblical Studies and Elementary Education.


August 14th, 2000
Robin accepted a position at River Ridge Elementary School in Elizabeth, IL teaching fifth grade.




July 2001
Robin was hired at Irving Elementary School in Dubuque, IA to teach sixth grade.


January 2nd, 2001
Robin and I became aunt and uncle for the second time to Emma Leah Ross. Emma is the daughter of my brother, Richard, and his wife, Carla. Emma was born on November 30th, 2000 and weighed in at 8 lbs. 4 oz.

June 26th, 2002
Robin and I became parents. Kennth Ashton was born at 8 PM and weighed in at 8 lbs. 3 oz.

February 16th, 2004
Another gift from God was delivered into our care. William Xavier weighed in at 8 lbs. 4 oz.

July 2004
Our family packed up all of our possessions and moved to Alaska.
