It was with much embarrassment
that I opened the e-mail
which was addressed to someone else
and not to me.
I was supposed to only print it out,
but my curiosity got the better of me
and I ended up reading it anyway.

And within it I found
an eloquence and a certain sweetness
that you can only find
in the truest of hearts.
The words echoed a loneliness
that can never be relieved
by a crowd of millions,
a kind of longing
that can only be eased
by the warmth of clasping
the hand of the One.

Here it was,
right before my very eyes,
a love story unfolding.
This was the stuff
that mushy movies were made of.
And it was all REAL,
too real in fact
that it was sitting there,
right in my inbox.

And for whatever it's worth,
I wish them a happy ending.

Curiosity didn't kill the cat.
