Fanden was a strong area. There were approximately forty seven hundred thousand species of different aliens living in or around the fifty hundred thousand acres of Corefand, the capitol. It had recently undergone a civil war that tore apart the many species from the ancestral inhabiters, the Fandenites. For thirty seven thousand years the Fandenites had occupied the planet but were only recently moved to the southwestern corner of the world. The Fandenites, then brought about the most high technology fusion weapons and refused to let any other species into that section, just to keep their culture pure.
The Fandenites were small, rotund creatures. Many years of evolution designed their bodies hairless for swimming, sleek for flying, clawed for burrowing (not to mention half blind), and a set of lungs in their chest and gills under their operculum. Unfortunatly, the creatures were no good at any of these skills.
But to get to the point, the Fandenites were threatening to blow up the world using their newest laser. It was dubbed Armon's Gedon by the inventor, Armon Gedon. He was sitting in his chair, contemplating the choices he had.
"Alright," he said to his slender secretary, "We have a couple of choices. One, push earth into submission if they don't give in to our demands, and two, wait for them to give in."
"Understood," she responded, writing down every word. "And what option would you be favoring?"
"I think I'd like to wait until they crush inward on themselves. It's a democratic society down there, but it might as well be communist. That is why I run Empire Style. Har'yk!" he called to his pet Swamp Dweller. It expanded it's wings to a huge 18 foot wingspan. Its body was only a foot and a half, but it still managed to fold its wings into a small length. It flew to Armon's shoulders and gracefully landed. The doctor stroked it's chin and it gwauked.
All of a sudden a noise was emitted from the wall to the left of the Doctor. "Uh....?" asked the secretary, "should I record that noise?"
The doctor cocked his head to the side. "Hmmm....yes."
JUST THEN:
