The Todds, Hammonds, Oneidas
Notes by Joanne Nance
George Nance, Barbara(Shields) Todd, Lee Todd and me. Barbara's first husband, Harvey, was an usher in our wedding. We spend many fun times (especially New Year's Parties) with her and Harvey and other newlyweds. Quote form George at New Year's Party, "I'm waiting for Fred Konkel [one of our group] to turn green before I go home." Haven't seen Barbara in years, but we do send Christmas messages every year. She and Lee were married last year. They knew each other in high school.
Me, Marie and Walt Hammond, raisin growers from Caruthers. We took dancing lessons with them for many years and have gone on many nice trips (especially for CSUF basketball and football games) Marie is always crocheting afghans and giving them as presents.
Marcella and John Oneida, our walking friends. They have been everywhere. He worked overseas as an engineer, lived in Pakistan, and Indonesia to name a few places. They also do everything like square dance - volunteer work - she cooks, sews etc. They are also our dinner partners at Roger Rocha Dinner Theatre.
