FOR THOUGHT
Who would go to a restaurant, pay for a good meal
And not eat one thing, leave hungry and cheated feel?
Not even ask for a doggie bag to take it away,
To feast upon much later, or eat on another day.
Who would cook a meal, have home made food around,
Then just sit and chat and pretend there is no food to be found.
These situations would seem silly, yet feasts of a spiritual kind
We often leave untouched, our spiritual appetite cant find.
So when we come to the temple, have a spiritual feast,
Do not go home hungry, even just have a nibble at least,
Then loosen your belt, spiritual food wont put on a pound,
But will help us grow and our path that is heavenward bound.
