VALENTINES LOVE

Some poets speak of love as like a
Red, red rose, or some sweet melody,
Others speak of the gentle violet,
And some as a mighty tree.
But as I ponder through my mind
To verse my love anew,
My love is just like heaven
Because it's shared with you.

Now some people's love is as
A rose and in a short time is past,
The gentle violet can be crushed,
Or even the mighty tree can't last,
But a love that's planned in heaven
And becomes the biggest part of you,
Will last through this life and the next,
A love that's always true.

So when I think of our special love,
Though the rose and violet are fair,
And the tree is grand and has great strength
They really can't compare
To the love that lies within my heart,
That has heaven as it's aim,
And has been tried through years of time
And will be tried again.
