OUR VERY SPECIAL LOVE

Oft times I contemplate within my soul
Our very special love.
Now our lives so entwined
We have become as one, and being one, are whole.

All that is good within me
Is because of our love.
It has tempered my life
So I strive to be worthy of you eternally.

Of all Gods priceless gifts given,
You are my greatest worth,
No garish worldly prize
Would I change for you beside me in heaven.

Oft times in prayer I thank God above
For having you my dear.
For life would be so empty
Without our undying selfless love.

God grant us strength to journey on
Along lives thorny path
As one flesh united,
Strive to cherish love till our goal is won.
