GIFTS ON VALENTINES

I will make a list of gifts I'll give you my love,
Gifts that will not break the bank, or run up a bill.
Gifts that come from the heart that beats for you,
Gifts of love and service, gifts to prepare us for above.


The first gift that I'll give is an understanding heart,
The second gift, a heart that will always be true,
The third gift, a hand of true friendship to hold
As we love and live together, as we do our part.

More gifts I want to give, as we walk along life's way,
One is the gift of myself, so I can serve with all my heart.
A gift I want to develop is one of pure unselfishness
So I can only think of others each and every day.

Please accept my few meager, humble gifts given to you,
Given with a never ending love, given with thoughtfulness,
Given from a heart that overflows with a special love
That will guide us to heaven by a covenant that is new.
