World of Darkness

Lost in a world of darkness,
Lost in a world full of sin,
Lost in a world of selfishness
Where no light can enter in.

Who will stand with a beacon?
Who will hold a light high?
Who will bid a welcome
To the lost sinner passing by?

Could my light be strong
To shine extra bright?
To be able to right a wrong
To those lost in the night.

Give me the strength to shine,
Be a light to guide the way
To those lost in sin and crime,
Bring them to a better day.

One soul from the darkness,
One soul saved from sin,
One life full of brightness
Because my light was not dim.

That is all I ask, dear Lord.,
That I may this each day,
Find a way to spread thy word,
Show someone the better way,
