SHINE BRIGHT


Light a little candle in this gloomy world,
Let it shine brightly, light some ones way,
Be a beacon of hope, a ray of charity,
Light a little candle on a dark dismal day.

Light a darkened corner in a sin filled soul,
Help them find the way back home again.
Light a sick room with a comforting hand
And a prayer that they will be free from pain.

Shine bright when evil besets you on every side,
Face the world with your candle burning bright.
No evil came overcome you in this dark hour,
If your little candle gives all it's shining light.

Let your light so shine as bright as it can be,
Then thank your God in heaven for the light
That shines to show His goodness and love,
A light that never dims will be forever bright.
