WHO WILL BE THERE
Who will be there at the end of our lifes day?
Who will greet us and then show us the way?
Imagine the light, the joy and music so sweet,
How many happy smiling faces will we meet?
Will I know when I reach heavens pearly gate,
What to do and say to those who for me wait,
Will they be able to say, Enter let me come in,
Or will the door be barred with ignorance and sin?
Will the path be easy to find, because I know the way?
Because I tried to follow Jesus, striving hard to stay
On the path to glory, aim for my true celestial home,
Or will I in mists of darkness, being lost, so have to roam.
Wholl be there to greet me on the first resurrection day,
Will I come forward with Him, shining bright all the way,
Or will my turn be later, not worthy to be able to stand
With my Master, linger and wait for His royal command?
We have the light and truth of the gospel, to help us along,
So we should always be rejoicing, sing a triumphal song,
Love and live the gospel, spread our joy far and wide,
Then on the great millennial our joy we shall not hide.
