        BOTHERED BY DARKNESS
Are we bothered by the darkness that is around,
Grumble all the time because there’s no light found,
Now in us all there is a light wanting to shine bright,
Do not curse the darkness, light a candle in the night.

Why not be the first to shun away the darkness,
Be the one to shine, no longer your light repress,
Be a beacon, a lighthouse showing folks the way,
Guide them with your light until a brighter day.

If I see a candle burning bright in the dark of night,
I’m cheered, warmed and comforted by the sight.
A little ray to guide me, someone being good and kind,
Showing me the way in the dark my path to find.

Do not moan when darkness covers up the sun,
Light your light, let it shine like a new day begun.
Let that gospel light be someone’s guiding star
So all those who love God shine wherever you are.
