        LOST AND ALONE
Have you ever been lost and alone
away from the Master’s care,
Forgotten the joy you had known
when you were safely there?
Lost and alone and so very weary,
afraid to go back home
Wandering around in a world so deary
no longer wanting to roam.
CHORUS
Wander no more, wander no more,
Please return to the fold,
There find the Master you adore
And friendly hands to hold.

Have you ever felt that no one cares,
feel you want to die?
Not worthy of the love that God shares
from His home on high?
Lost in self-pity, lost in some sickness,
loaded down with sin?
No one you think would your hand to caress,
no one would let you in?
CHORUS

Remember the story of the prodigal son,
he humbled himself, came home,
And oh, the great joy that simple action won
when he no longer did roam,
It is Satan, pride and fear that keeps you away,
away from the Master’s side,
Return to the fold, don’t wait another day
to put away fear and pride.
CHORUS

Then feel of the love and the joy as you return,
hands are waiting for you,
The Saviour did always for you ever did yearn
your friend forever true,
Think of the love found in the safety of the fold,
please do not wait,
Everyday it becomes harder the light to hold,
come before it’s too late.
CHORUS
