A PROTECTION FROM EVIL
Let us make our homes small havens of rest,
A place where harmony and love are best,
Not only a shelter from the dark of night,
But a safety beacon of God’s pure light.

A home free from evil thoughts and deeds
Where are met physical and spiritual needs,
A shelter from a world where sin is everywhere,
Where scriptures are read and a constant prayer.

Would Jesus want to enter into your home tonight?
Would He feel comfortable, able to share His light?
Could you watch a movie, not squirm in your seat,
When you knelt in prayer His eyes could you meet.

A home free from evil is what every home should be,
A safe haven where Satan does not run about free,
Then the family will be protected and know the way,
That will help them stay free from evil every single day.
