THE ROAD RACING DUO
We wonder in northern Canada, if Ireland will ever be the same,
For the road racing duo kept going back and then forward again,
Car loaded down as they move their goods to the new place,
Taking twisting short cuts that could have lost them the race.

Not sticking to the highway may not be very wise you see,
There are many turn off’s getting lost is as easy as can be.
You could land up in a farmers field taking a wrong turn,
Then how for the well marked highway you do yearn.

Back and forth, in the meantime doing missionary work,
Not for one moment did that road racing duo ever shirk.
Lending many a helping hand while rushing all about,
The Lord we know will bless you without a single doubt.

Thanks for the e-mail that you sent to us all this day,
We are still out of breath from reading it by the way.
We hope you are all settled in your nice new place,
We hope that this poem may put a smile on your face.
