SEEDS
When we plant our seeds as we travel along our way,
Are they good or bad seeds that we scattered every day?
Are they seeds of good example, seeds of love and care,
Seeds that tell those around you, you are always there.

Or are they seeds that should not be scattered around?
Contention, bickering, greed, seeds that are not found
In anyone’s life’s garden, yet do we plant them there?
Then letting Satan hold your garden hoe, if so take care.

We know that we can only reap the things that we sow,
If we plant seeds of love that is what will always grow.
Every time we say an unkind word or do a cruel deed,
Take that hoe from Satan and dig out that horrid seed.

If we let them sink deep into our life’s garden patch,
We will reap the reward that each plant will match,
So keep the hoe of forgiveness always, ready to repent,
Remember your seeds and the good gift’s God has sent.
