Well done little sister, you have done the right thing,
Great joy to Heavenly Father and many others you bring
As today you are baptised to join our big happy throng,
That will help through life to avoid doing wrong.

Although life may not be easy, the Holy Spirit will be there
To lead you and guide you, teach you with loving care,
You can be an example as a choice daughter of God,
Your light shining brightly as through this life you plod.

You can be a beacon of hope for those who have gone astray,
The one to bring them back to the straight and narrow way,
So, Serena, always be a good friend to everyone you meet,
Be a gospel light, shining to light the way for wandering feet.

Well done little sister, you are now on the right way
To guide you and lead you back to heaven one day,
Stay sweet, kind and gentle, keep shining bright,
You can be the Lords candle, full of His pure light.
