HEAVEN’S GATES CLOSED
What will it be that stops me from gaining heaven above?
I don’t think it will be that I know not how to truly love,
Or that some terrible crime I will purposely go and commit,
Or even not serve hard to work and do my allotted bit.
It will be in the things that I don’t think matter at all,
It will wont in breaking of covenants as my downfall,
But in the small things that will cause heavens gate to close,
Satan say’s, if we let him, little things don’t count, he knows
He can’t get us on the big things, so he won’t even try,
Say, ‘get thee behind me Satan,’ I’ll not spiritually die.
Keep all the commandments whether they are great or small
For it is through strict obedience Jesus saved us from the fall.
