- MOMENTS OF JOY
I remember hanging onto a kite string,
To some it may be just a little thing,
But my parents were hanging onto me,
Three of us together, happy as could be.
Laughter floated almost as high as the kite
As we fought the wind with all our might,
If that moment sweet could last forever more,
Oh, how dear Jesus I would always adore.
I grew up and married the most wonderful man,
Then a few years later we heard of Fathers plan,
To always be together forever, never again to part,
Oh. how those words with joy filled my heart.
The greatest joys are found within the family,
It makes sense to have that joy for all eternity,
God loves us enough to seal families together,
Nothing but sin can that great promise sever.
Oh, how my heart sings as my joy overflows
With gratitude for the great love Father shows
To us His children, knowing where joy is known,
He wants happy families around His heavenly throne.
