A PRIVILEGE TO TEACH        
Have you ever stopped to think
of the responsibility given
To those who are called to teach
others the way to heaven?
How long do we pray for the spirit,
how long should we prepare,
So to teach the message sweet
to those who will be there?

Knees should be sore and aching,
hours seeking the truth to find,
So we can teach as the spirit guides
and the right things bring to mind,
That way you may touch a heart
and help it to start to heal,
Say the right thing at the right moment
the Holy Ghost you will feel.

Please teachers, stop for a moment
and think of your responsibility,
Don’t prepare it at the last minute,
or what sort of lesson will it be?
Pray and study as a lesson you prepare
and ask for the spirit to be there.
Know what you teach, live it every day,
remember those who listen with care

They wait to be instructed, want to learn,
you are there them to teach,
Is it fair not to prepare well and pray,
even if you one soul can reach,
Think how the saviour taught while
here on earth below,
Put yourselves in His shoes this week
and feel the spirit flow.
