GATHERING
Gathering together as servants of the Lord
All striving hard to spread His holy word,
Feeling the spirit that togetherness brings
To those who strive to do the right things,

Learning and teaching together and growing,
Working hard in different ways and knowing
We are part of His army, few though we may be,
Wanting to bring souls into His love and safety.

The spirit touched us and gave us good cheer
So we can press forward, know He is near,
Leading us gently, telling us what to do and say,
It’s a comfort to know others feel the same way.

Thanks to zone conference we feel able to go on,
Fight the good fight until our small battle is won,
Work in the cold, feeling spiritual warmth within,
Knowing if we try hard the Lord will help us win.
