MAKE WEAK THINGS STRONG
‘When men come unto me, I will show them their weakness,’
Why Lord? I know I am not perfect, sometimes get in a mess,
I know I do things wrong, need to repent and always pray,
I am trying, Why point out my weaknesses in this way?

I give thee weakness, to humble a proud and stubborn heart,
So when humility comes my grace can do it’s great part,
For my grace is sufficient, for those who are humble before me,
And I will make thy weakness strength for all eternity.

I pray I may be humble to be bestowed with grace divine,
Humble enough to do God’s will always, never do mine,
Find all my weaknesses, that strength will fill my heart
So that I will always know when to do my small part.

Teach me to come unto thee at every new day begun,
Help me follow the truth until my life’s battle is won,
Everyday may I another weakness, seek and then find,
Until I am worthy of Thy grace, find true peace of mind.

Great gifts of humility and grace, please Lord be mine,
Through trials and worries, trust Thee and never whine,
Have Thee lead me by the hand, give answer to my prayer,
Bless me with strength to know Lord, thou are always there.
