PRECIOUS PROMISES
When we take upon our selves Jesus great name,
We should in all truth and reality never be the same,
A precious promise of divine nature needs many a virtue
To overcome the world and to stand strong and true.
The knowledge of the truth will set us all so free
From the sins, like lust, corruption and iniquity,
Through His great sacrifice divine to pay the price,
So we should strive to stay free from every vice.
Knowledge, should give us the desire to increase
Our faith, to faith, in all good works never cease,
Add to our full hearts as gratitude to the Master,
Godliness, Brotherly love and patience master.
And as the crowning glory to His holy name,
Make sweet, humble charity our eternal aim,
Seek diligently for these gifts of the spirit pure
And gain divine blessings as Jesus we adore.
